Richard Anderson is a founding partner of Hexagon Capital Alliance LLC. He has over 25 years of experience advising middle-market owners and management teams in addressing liquidity alternatives and strategies for shareholders and corporations. Mr. Anderson’s Merger & Acquisition assignments include the sale of businesses, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and management buy-outs. His Corporate Finance experience includes arranging private equity and debt capital to finance organic growth and acquisitions.
Mr. Anderson’s transaction experience includes advising companies in a broad array of sectors, such as Apparel, Accessories & Footwear; Outdoor & Sporting Goods; Food & Beverage; Retail & Direct-to-Consumer; Industrial Manufacturing; Business & Professional Services; and Transportation & Logistics. Previously, Mr. Anderson was a Partner with Moss Adams Capital LLC for 20+ years, and was a Senior Vice President with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Company, where he managed merger & acquisition and corporate finance assignments for both public and private businesses. Before joining FBR, he was a Director with Trenwith Securities, a specialty investment bank, where he assisted middle-market companies in arranging private equity and debt capital and in buy-side or sell-side assignments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Anderson was a SVP with NationsBank, where he managed the Western United States Region and was the bank’s liaison to their Capital Markets group.
Since 2015, Mr. Anderson is an adjunct professor at the Caruso School of Law at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California. He lectures on Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and the transaction process in a segment of an Entrepreneurship course for law students.
Mr. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Ohio State University and his MBA degree from Pepperdine University.
