Rich Anderson

Managing Director

Richard Anderson is a founding partner of Hexagon Capital Alliance LLC. He has over 25 years of experience advising middle-market owners and management teams in addressing liquidity alternatives and strategies for shareholders and corporations. Mr. Anderson’s Merger & Acquisition assignments include the sale of businesses, acquisitions, recapitalizations, and management buy-outs. His Corporate Finance experience includes arranging private equity and debt capital to finance organic growth and acquisitions.

Mr. Anderson’s transaction experience includes advising companies in a broad array of sectors, such as Apparel, Accessories & Footwear; Outdoor & Sporting Goods; Food & Beverage; Retail & Direct-to-Consumer; Industrial Manufacturing; Business & Professional Services; and Transportation & Logistics. Previously, Mr. Anderson was a Partner with Moss Adams Capital LLC for 20+ years, and was a Senior Vice President with Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Company, where he managed merger & acquisition and corporate finance assignments for both public and private businesses. Before joining FBR, he was a Director with Trenwith Securities, a specialty investment bank, where he assisted middle-market companies in arranging private equity and debt capital and in buy-side or sell-side assignments. Earlier in his career, Mr. Anderson was a SVP with NationsBank, where he managed the Western United States Region and was the bank’s liaison to their Capital Markets group.

Since 2015, Mr. Anderson is an adjunct professor at the Caruso School of Law at Pepperdine University in Malibu, California.  He lectures on Corporate Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions and the transaction process in a segment of an Entrepreneurship course for law students.

Mr. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Economics from Ohio State University and his MBA degree from Pepperdine University.

Andrew Suen

Managing Director

Andrew Suen is a Managing Director with Hexagon Capital Alliance. He has 13+ years of experience advising and executing middle-market mergers and acquisitions transactions, including more than 75 sell-side, buy-side and strategic advisory assignments.

Mr. Suen serves as head of the firm’s Diversified Industrials practice. His sector experience includes Converted Packaging Materials; Industrial Technology; Supply Chain Management & Distribution; Automotive Aftermarket; and Business & Professional Services. Prior to Hexagon Capital Alliance, Mr. Suen served in similar capacities advising middle-market companies and business owners with Moss Adams Capital LLC; Mesirow Financial, Inc.; and Brown Gibbons Lang & Co.

Mr. Suen earned a bachelor’s degree in finance and international business from Indiana University Bloomington and lives in Orange County, CA with his wife, daughter, and two sons.

Tyler Dale

Managing Director

Tyler Dale is a Managing Director with Hexagon Capital Alliance. He has 19 years of experience of capital markets experience and has been involved in numerous merger & acquisition transactions, recapitalizations and debt and equity capital raises for middle-market clients.

Mr. Dale’s transaction experience spans a variety of sectors, including Outdoor & Recreation, Apparel, Direct-to-Consumer, Branded Consumer Products, Personal Care, Business and Consumer Services and Healthcare. Prior to this position, he was a Director with Moss Adams Capital LLC, and an Associate with D.A. Davidson & Co. in their Consumer Products and Healthcare investment banking groups.

Mr. Dale earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and is a CFA Charterholder.  He lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife and two daughters.

Brandon Clewett

Managing Director

Brandon Clewett is a Managing Director with Hexagon Capital Alliance. He has 17+ years of capital markets experience and has been involved in 100+ merger & acquisition transactions, recapitalizations, and debt and equity capital raises for middle-market clients.

Mr. Clewett’s sector experience includes E-commerce, Consumer Branded Products, Infrastructure and Specialty Manufacturing.  Prior to Hexagon Capital Alliance, he was a Managing Director with Moss Adams Capital, and a Director with KPMG in their corporate finance group.  Before joining KPMG, he was a Vice President at McGladrey LLP in their investment banking division.

Mr. Clewett earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley and lives in Orange County, CA with his wife and three sons.

Paul Kacik

Managing Director

Paul Kacik is a Managing Director with Hexagon Capital Alliance. He has 20+ years of healthcare investment banking experience and has been involved in 100+ M&A transactions, recapitalizations, and debt and equity capital raises for middle-market clients.

Mr. Kacik serves as head of the firm’s Healthcare practice having acted in a lead advisory role on numerous domestic and cross-border healthcare merger & acquisition transactions within healthcare services, including Physician Practice, Behavioral Health, Hospitals, Managed Care, and Pharmaceutical Services.  Previously, Mr. Kacik was a senior healthcare investment banker at several leading firms, including serving as Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at Opus Bank, Managing Director of Healthcare Investment Banking at Duff & Phelps, as well as Head of Healthcare Investment Banking at both DA Davidson and Wells Fargo Securities.

Mr. Kacik earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Southern California, and an MBA from the Cass Business School at the City, University of London. He and his wife live in Orange County, CA.

Bradley Erhart

Bradley Erhart is a Director with Hexagon Capital Alliance. He has 10+ years of capital markets experience and has been involved in numerous merger & acquisition transactions, recapitalizations, and debt and equity capital raises for middle-market clients.

Mr. Erhart’s sector experience includes Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Services, Digital Health, and Specialty Manufacturing. Prior to this position, he was a Vice President with Moss Adams Capital LLC. He served in similar capacities advising middle-market companies and business owners with Strategic Equity Group, a boutique investment banking, and valuation advisory firm. Mr. Erhart began his career as an Analyst at Murray Devine, a valuation advisory firm in Philadelphia.

Mr. Erhart earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Pittsburgh. He currently resides in Orange County, CA with his wife and dog.

Mr. Sherwood’s sector focus includes Consumer Products, with a particular emphasis on Food & Beverage. He previously held a Vice President position at Kinetic Advisors, a boutique merchant bank, and an Associate position at McGladrey Capital Markets. He began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers providing audit and assurance services.

Brennan joined HCA in 2022. He came with 7 years in the Wine and Spirits industry, 5 of which were with Duckhorn Wine Company.
